We appreciate the special relationship between people and animals. Our goal is to establish close doctor-patient-client relationships through good communication and service. By doing this, we can improve the health of our patients and thereby improve the quality of life of their families.

Doctor’s Welcome

Welcome to our new website! After much planning and a great deal of work by many people, I am happy to be opening Family Dog and Cat Hospital. This is an exciting new adventure in my veterinary career and I look forward to seeing you at our new hospital. We are located in downtown Monrovia across the street from the new library on Lime Avenue.

Our hospital name says two important things about us. First, that we are a family business and second, we understand that our dog and cat patients are loved by a family. Our dogs and cats are part of our family.

I am fortunate to have a great staff and I know you will be happy to meet them. My husband, David Garcia, has worked in the veterinary field for 31 years and is a Registered Veterinary Technician. We have worked together twice before and are happy to have our own practice. His most recent position was with EyeCare for Animals in Pasadena. Our hospital manager is Roxanne Almanza. She was 19 years old when she started her first veterinary job. Roxanne has extensive experience in all areas of veterinary practice. She is an invaluable problem solver. We are a paperless, environmentally-friendly facility using state of the art equipment to provide the best service and healthcare each client expects and each patient deserves.
