Pet Safety Fair June 29th

Submitted by dlgarcia on Wed, 06/25/2014 - 19:50

Hello everyone! This Sunday, Family Dog and Cat will be participating in Monrovia's Pet Safety Fair. The Fair will take place in Library Park (across from Family Dog and Cat) from 10AM to 1PM.

Grooming Part 2-- CATS

Most pet owners have their pet groomed from time to time. It is a process that, if done correctly, can help improve your pet’s quality of life. There are numerous advantages; pets are cleaner, less likely to contract certain diseases (particularly skin disorders), and are less likely to become infected by external parasites, like fleas or mites. Grooming also allows pet owners and veterinary staff to thoroughly inspect the animal, which can result in the discovery of problems that might have gone unnoticed.

How To Enjoy Summer With Your Pet

Submitted by dlgarcia on Tue, 06/03/2014 - 21:13

As the weather is getting hotter and the sun is shining brighter; it’s definitely starting to feel like summer. As you enjoy the summer, don’t forget to prepare your pet for the heat. Here’s a guide to making the summer just as much fun for your pet as it is for you.

1.     Never ever (ever!) leave an animal alone in a car during the summer.
